In
the Name of Allah, most Merciful, most Compassionate.
God said: “Verily the religion with Allah
is Islam"
I accept that Allah is my God, that Islam is my religion,
that Mohammad bin Abdullah(pbuh) is the Prophet and
Messenger of Allah and that Amir al-Mo'mineen
Ali ibn Abi Taleb(sa) is the Imam.
I witness that there is no God but
Allah and that Mohammad(pbuh) is His Servant and Rasool.

PROPHETS OF
ALLAH
(May peace be upon them)
There are twenty-five Prophets
mentioned in the Qur’an. Among the major
Messengers are included Adam, Nuh, Suleiman, Ibrahim, Musa, Issa
and Muhammad. We believe in all Prophets and
Messengers and do not differentiate between them as directed by
Allah in the Quran, as well as the revelations and the original
divine books revealed to them.
وَمَا نُرْسِلُ
الْمُرْسَلِينَ إِلاَّ مُبَشِّرِينَ وَمُنذِرِينَ
فَمَنْ آمَنَ وَأَصْلَحَ فَلاَ خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ
وَلاَ هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ
We send the Apostles only to give good
news and to warn: so those who believe and reform
(their lives) upon them shall be no fear nor shall
they grieve.
Al-An’am 6:48
The
first Prophet was Adam, may peace be upon him.
The Message he brought continued through
other Prophets, until it was completed in the
Message of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).
The following verse from the Qur’an
highlights this point.
قُلْ آمَنَّا
بِاللّهِ وَمَا أُنزِلَ عَلَيْنَا وَمَا أُنزِلَ عَلَى
إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْمَاعِيلَ وَإِسْحَاقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ
وَالأَسْبَاطِ وَمَا أُوتِيَ مُوسَى وَعِيسَى
وَالنَّبِيُّونَ مِن رَّبِّهِمْ لاَ نُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَ
أَحَدٍ مِّنْهُمْ وَنَحْنُ لَهُ مُسْلِمُونَ

Say: We
believe in Allah and in what has been revealed to us and what was
revealed to Abraham, Isma’il, Isaac, Jacob, and the Tribes, and that
given to Moses, Jesus, and the Prophets, from their Lord: We make no
distinction between one and another among them, and to Allah do we
bow our will (in Islam). Al-i-Imran 3:84.
