The following have supported the club and offered discounts to Melbourne Anime Society (MAS) members:

Have model kits, DVDs, CDS, VCSs as well as anime videos for sale/hire and associated merchandising (posters, toys and collectables etc). Offering club members a 10% discount on everything except for DVDs (and already discounted Sale items).

Have a large range of model kits. As well as videos for sale and rent carry English & Japanese video magazines, associated merchandising (posters, keyrings etc), artbooks, and music CDs

This new secondhand book store in Sydney which buys and sells books, magazines, manga, and CDs/DVDs in Japanese, English, and Chinese. They also sell many other various items from Japan from toys to fashions. You can find a information on sales, affiliated events and what not at http://fullofbooks.blogspot.com/. As of January 2006, they have stated that they have 130,000+ in Japanese books and manga, and 10,000 in English books/comics on their shelves.

They can dispatch books/comics by courier.

Up to 3kg: $15.
After that $15 for every 3kg.

MAS members have been offered free membership (normally $5). If you get a blank look, ask to speak to the manager, Yuko Watanabe as she is the person I dealt with.

Members of Hondarake receive the following benefits:

Books, magazines, comics,CDs, DVDs and figures: 5% off the marked prices on purchases and 5% added to sales
Manga & Internet room (you can use internet and read comics as much as you want in the room) $3/hour for members, $5/hour for non-members
10% off International Calling cards (Fujiyama & Daybreak)

Have a large selection of Japanese manga, also carry Japanese video magazines.
Items available in the discount are anime related books (including art books) but no other anime related merchandise, the discount is 5% for purchases of $100 or less and 10% for purchases over $100. When having items ordered in must pay 30% of the order cost when placing the order to obtain the discount.
